空間サウンドUX プランナー、サウンドアーティスト / 第二種電気工事士
東京を拠点とし、空間における音のユーザーエクスペリエンスを創造するプロデューサー。イマーシブサウンドをはじめとする空間音響のプロデュースに勢力的に携わっている。アナログシンセサイザーの音を愛し、エフォートレスシックな空間からソリッドな空間を彩る、脳や心、身体に働きかける高揚感と癒しをもたらすエレクトリックミュージックの制作を行っている。
音楽と共に育ち、ロック、ヒップホップ、ファンク、レアグルーヴ、ラテン・ジャズ、クラウトロック、テクノ、ハウスなど様々なジャンルの音楽に影響を受けてきた。
2000年よりDJとしてのキャリアをスタートし、クラブ、野外フェスや、ファッションショー、レセプションパーティー、ラグジュアリーホテルのラウンジ、レストラン等、様々なスタイルのイベントや空間でサウンド演出した幅広い経験が、創作活動に反映されている。
2020年より新たな試みとしてテーマを、倫理学における中庸の概念を取り入れた「高揚感と癒しの融合」とし、エレクトロニックミュージックで洗練された空間を作り社会に貢献することとしている。
水族館、ミュージアム、オフィス、 エステ、アパレルブランドなどの音環境、サウンドスケープ、オリジナルサウンド制作などに携わり、2022年 3DホログラムシアターLIVLIVの館内サウンド、３Dホログラム演劇 ”Choice is Yours” の7.1chサウンドなどを手がけている。
音楽制作においては、2010年にSony Playstation3 (Torne・Vita)本体のメインメニューBGMとして”Blossom”を楽曲提供。その後、様々なプロジェクトで多くの楽曲をリリースしヨーロッパなどの世界でプレイされた。2021年にソーシャルサイトに投稿した楽曲をきっかけにドイツのアーティストManuel Turから声がかかり、2022年に英国の人気レーベルFreerange RecordsのJimpsterが主宰する新しいElectronica soundにフォーカスしたレーベル ”Cyphon” よりEP ”Forever” をリリース。

Yuu Udagawa is a Tokyo based Japanese female producer, who creates spatial sound user experiences. She is active in producing immersive sound and other types of acoustic spaces.
She adores analog synthesizers, and she is making electronic music that works for the brain, mind and body, which exuberance and healing, using analog technology to create the warm backdrop that allows her to draw colors from effortless chic to solid space.
She started her career as a DJ in 2000 and has been playing in clubs, outdoor festivals, fashion shows, reception parties, luxury hotel lounges and restaurants throughout her career.
The experience she aquired playing in different styles of events and spaces has certainly played huge role in her musical culture.
Since 2020, she has taken “a fusion of uplifting and healing” as her core theme, merging the central concepts of the golden mean in ethics, through which she tries to contribute to the society by creating a sophisticated space with electronic music.
She engaged in the creation of audio environment for aquariums, museums, offices, esthetic salons, apparel brands, etc., and produced soundscapes and other original sounds.
In 2022, she has produced the sound inside of a 3D hologram theatre “LIVLIV” and 7.1ch sound of 3D-hologram stage plays"Chance is Yours”, among other projects.
In music production, she provided the track “Blossom” for Sony Playstation3’ s main menu BGM (Torne and Vita) in 2010. Later, the she released a number of songs in various projects, many of which have been played across the world. In 2021, a few tracks posted on a social network drew attention of Manuel Tur, a German artist, who invited her to release an EP titled “Forever” in 2022 from Cyphon, a new label focusing on more electronica sounds by Jimpster from Freerange Records, a popular British label.
