プロダクトデザイン、メディアアート、メカトロニクスの複合的観点から、ものづくりに携わる。
主に、キネティックな作品やインタラクティブなインスタレーション、フィジカルデバイスなどの設計製作、ディレクションを行う。
自身では、10代から始めたDJを続けている他、自作楽器/ソフトを使用したライブパフォーマンス、電子楽器やアート作品の制作も行っている。
ノコギリからプログラミングまで、ハード/ソフトを問わず横断的に考えることで、メディウムにとらわれない柔軟なものづくりを心がけている。

Kenichi Takahana

Kenichi designs and builds products through multiple perspectives of product design, media art design, and mechatronics. He mainly focuses on designing kinetic products, interactive installations, physical devices, etc.
Kenichi himself started DJ-ing when he was a teenager. He also performs live using instruments/software of his own creation, and creates digital instruments and art pieces as well.
Kenichi is dedicated to designing products across multiple medium, regardless of hardware or software, from using a saw to programming, keeping in mind to be flexible and not restricted by the medium.
